Three Arc of Butte County Families received Thanksgiving Food Baskets today at the Arc’s Chico Admin Office. The baskets were full of tasty treats from turkey to potatoes to pumpkin pies.
“Arc staff worked hard gathering the donated food,” shares Patti Thomas, Independent Living Program Director,” Bonnie Bethel, ILS Coordinator, even made homemade strawberry jam and Jennifer White, Office Manager, made the lovely baskets.”
The three lucky families (seen below) will have a special Cooking Class with their ILS Instructors the day before Thanksgiving. They will learn how to prepare the special meal including kitchen safety. You can find more photos on the ARC’s FaceBook Page.
