Arc Thrift Store

What Sets Us Apart

The Arc Thrift Store & Donation Center is a vital and impactful part of The Arc of Butte County, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to serving individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). We take pride in being more than just a place to donate your gently used household items and clothes.

By donating to The Arc of Butte County, you are making a significant and meaningful impact on the lives of individuals with IDD in our community. Our thrift store was established with a mission to provide work experience for adults with IDD, helping them gain valuable skills that are hard to obtain. The funds generated by our store help fund Arc programs, creating opportunities and enhancing the lives of those we serve.

At The Arc Thrift Store & Donation Center, we are committed to empowering individuals with IDD to lead happy and successful lives by fostering their skills. We believe in promoting independence through education, experience, and emotional well-being. Our client employees have unique goals and excel in different areas of work and life. We work hard to discover and enhance their known skills and abilities, so they have a greater chance of finding employment based on their qualifications.

By shopping and donating with us, you are not only supporting a worthy cause but also promoting a more inclusive and diverse community. We are confident that your support will help us continue to create opportunities for individuals with IDD and promote a brighter future for our community.

We sincerely appreciate your support and look forward to seeing you soon at The Arc Thrift Store & Donation Center.

Great thrift store. I always buy something since the store benefits those who are less fortunate. Their prices are the best in town of all the other thrift stores. I usually find things I can gift forward for Christmas. Often times you can find new items. Seems the town donates really good items or the sorters in the back are really good at picking saleable items. Have fun! Always find a "find" I recommend going there first before any of the other thrift stores.

I love second hand stores, but Ark Thrift has by far been my best yet! A gentleman named Kevin has always greeted me with a smile, answers all my questions , and helps me whenever I need it! The prices are great, and their merchandise is for every culture. My experience there has been nothing but great. If you like thrift stores , definitely check this one out, I’m glad I did!

I think the place is so well run. The staff are so great and the two managers work together so well. No hold backs, everything goes out. Great values, 25% off Wednesdays, just great prices throughout the store. Hidden Treasures in the open to be found as well. All things work
