Independent Living Skills Program Coordinator

The Arc of Butte County is looking to fill the position of ILS Coordinator.

Under the supervision of the Associate Director, Independent Living Program, the ILS Coordinator is responsible for the overall operation of the Independent Living Skills Program. This includes but is not limited to, the following: coordinate services to serve consumers’ needs; recruit and train Instructors; administer in-take assessments; develop and monitor Individual Service Plans; advocate on behalf of clients; network with other agencies to keep abreast of trends, innovations, and potential problems; implement statues, regulations and vendoring requirements; additionally, contribute to the design of program content and to the running of the Feeding America Food Bank.

The applicant must have a Bachelor’s Degree and at least four years’ training or experience supervising staff and working with the developmentally disabled population. Bi-lingual preferred.

The applicant’s work history must demonstrate the ability to supervise and work cooperatively with others, demonstrate good judgment in handling emergencies or any other special problems or needs of the consumers, and be able to set guidelines and rules while working independently. The applicant must also demonstrate the ability to express oneself clearly orally and in writing. In addition, experience with processing timesheets and invoices are a plus.

This is a full-time position with benefits available. CA driver’s license, TB test, finger printing, drug test and clean DMV report required.

Compensation: Salary Range $24-26.50/Hour
